Ginger Coconut Dahl - Snowdon House
A wonderful combination of the spices of cumin, cardamon, coriander and turmeric, a thick Indian stew known as Dahl.
Place soup mix in a stockpot with 8 cups hot water. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20- 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4-6 SERVINGS
Stir in 2 tablespoons tomato paste. Cook a little longer until desired temperature and consistency is reached. You may add more water if necessary or a can of tomatoes to make it more soup-like. Garnish with a dollop of yoghurt if desired.
